Hear What Our Customers Have to Say

"Very Impressed!"

Dear Rob,

Yesterday my husband and I bought a Honda from Superstition Springs, in no small measure thanks to Eric Thompson, with whom we were very impressed.  I've been sitting on the fence as far as buying another vehicle since it wasn't a necessity.  Eric's low-key, kind demeanor helped make the decision much easier for us since we're a mid-60's couple who are reluctant to make any major changes--so buying a new vehicle was not done lightly.

Thank you, Eric and Honda of Superstition Springs, for our new CRV, and making our experience such a pleasant one.  We're looking forward to keeping our Honda for a long time through the good service of your dealership.

Appreciatively,

Morris and Geraldine

"WOW!"

Dear Dan Joslyn,

Wow! My door handles look wonderful. That was so thoughtful of you to think of cleaning them after my chance remark. I will certainly call you when I'm next in the market for a new car. I will, also, be happy to recommend you to friends.

Thanks again.

"Best purchase experience in 20 Years!"

Dan,
Our purchase experience at SS Honda was the best we have ever had in 20+ years of car shopping.  Pricing was fair and fully disclosed from the start. We do our research, and have a pretty good idea what is realistic and what is not in terms of price when walking in the door. We do not have the time and patience to play head games when negotiating price. When that happens, we simply walk away. But that did not happen at your dealership. The test drive went well, price came in on target and deal was closed in like 5 minutes. No hidden fees, no little gotchas when we sat down at the finance desk. It was a beautiful thing!
Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and took the time to make sure we were happy with the vehicle.  From the financing process all the way to the vehicle walk through before we left the lot.  We had to wait a couple weeks for the vehicle to be delivered to the dealership, and when it arrived, there were some minor glue marks left over from the protective sheeting they put on the car when transporting.  You guys took the car back in for wash and detailing not once, but twice?after we saw a little glue still left on the hood. You didn't even blink an eye, you just did it. We can guarantee you many dealers would not have acted so quickly and diligently over something like a glue mark.
We want to thank you Dan, along with Aaron Hammer for a positive purchase experience, and hopefully years of satisfaction with the Crosstour.

"The Pilot Runs Like a Dream"

This letter is directed to the Service manager Greg Adams and the service writer Domonic who bent over backward to help me with my Honda CRV - as you know, to no avail. SO Dominic called my salesman Jimmy Sears and we got a different Honda "Pilot" which it runs like a DREAM. No shake or vibration problem. Thanks guys.

Part two is I want to commend Jimmy Sears and Mike the sales manager for busting their buns to satisfy me, which they did.

Jimmy is a very polite salesperson. Not pushy. Keep up the good work, Jimmy. Again, thanks to ALL of you for helping me and my wife.

"The Odyssey is Awesome!"

Hi Chris,

My name is Mark and I just purchased a new 2011 Honda Odyssey EX-L from your dealership using the Costco program.  My wife and I live in California during the summer and Mesa in the winter, so I had a choice to buy in either location.  I owned two Honda's; 2003 Odyssey EX-L w/Navigation and a 2004 Accord EX-L with voice Navigation.   Most maintenance was performed at Superstition Honda although both vehicles were purchased at the former Honda Cars of Mesa.   Over the years, your service team, especially James Macias (service adviser), always made me feel welcome and demonstrated excellent customer service.  This was another reason to purchase my new vehicle from your dealership.

As a former IT director, I'm well aware that managers are usually confronted when problems arise but seldom hear when things go right.  I had some initial inquiries with Koushi Momtazian a few weeks ago and he confirmed availability of two white Odyssey's and also provided some trade-in information.  My Wife and I arrived yesterday (Wednesday) with the two trade-in's and were greeted by a friendly staff who connected us with Koushi as well as James Haas.  James took over as Koushi was busy with another customer.  James also demonstrated excellent customer service skills and was very respectful and understanding of our needs and limited time.  He took the time to bring a light Blue Odyssey to the front and explained all the new options/equipment in detail.  This is something that was not done when I visited the Honda dealership in California.  We then took a test drive that further solidified my decision to purchase a new Odyssey.  I originally wanted a white Odyssey w/Beige interior.  However, once I saw this light blue model, I changed my mind.

James negotiated acceptable values for my two trade-in's and also added a 8yr/120K mile Honda warranty per my request.  He was great to work with and additionally, he recognized we were on a tight time-line so he arranged to have Andy Andujar handle all the paperwork to expedite the process.  Andy was able to get the boatload of forms printed for our signature and had us out of there very quickly.  He was also very friendly and knowledgeable.  We were there for about three hours which was long, but acceptable considering the excellent attention we received.

Again, many thanks to You and your staff.  Please convey my appreciation to the above employees.  As I said, I don't think people hear enough when things go right.  We drove the Odyssey back to California today and it was amazing.  James called me today while I was in route to confirm that everything was alright and I told him that I answered his call using the Odyssey's Bluetooth phone interface.  I didn't even have to pull my phone from it's case.  The Odyssey is an awesome vehicle.

Thanks again,

Mark

"Nothing but GREAT words!"

Dear Mr. Zamora,

I have nothing but great words for your whole staff at Superstition Springs Honda.  As I mentioned to Dan, one of your salesmen, this morning, you have the greatest team of professionals.  No high pressure, lots of courtesy, from parts, service, sales and finance.  I was very comfortable all of Wednesday with Blane and Dan [can't forget Alan Franck!] with the way they listened and worked with me to be the proud owner of my third Honda CR-V ..two of which I purchased from your dealership.  Keep up the good work!  You have some very competent people well-representing the Honda brand!!

Thank you very kindly,

Mike V.

"Very Impressed!"

Thank you.  We wanted to let you know that Kenny took great care of us and we appreciate that he was able to do everything by phone and email.  We were really impressed that he offered to deliver the car to us and yours was the only dealership willing to work with us on negotiating a price and accessories.  We are very happy with our new Odyssey and Kenny was a great salesperson and was never pushy.  Thanks for making it a great experience.

Laura

"Kudos!"

High marks to Aaron and Dan for the friendly and professional care they gave us. Both were knowledgeable and moved us through the purchase process expediently. They reflect well on the dealership's commitment to customer service.

"Such friendly people"

Hi Chris,

I was in the SS Honda today to pick up a case of DW1 transmission fluid for my Odyssey. I just wanted to comment on the friendliness of your people - from the guy that sold me the fluid, to the gal that I paid and asked if I wanted a water - to the gentleman outside that commented on my USO shirt. All were friendly, professional and sharp. You have good people and they are an asset to your firm.

If I were in the market for a new/used vehicle I would definitely consider SS Honda.

"Satisfied Customer"

Hi Chris-

I wanted to let you know a little more about my experience at your dealership. I had been looking at a few other places, just browsing and exploring my options. Every other place that I went, the people were extremely rude to me. They pre-judged me the minute I walked onto the property - I am a 24 year old female and was looking at cars by myself. I had tons of questions and did not really know exactly what I was looking for, but no one would give me the time of day. But when I went to your dealership, I started looking and Blane approached me and was very nice. So when I had questions, I figured that he was nice at first, hopefully he would listen to me and at least let me down easy. He listened to my wants and needs, and helped me figure out what I could afford. If it were not for Blane's friendly approach that made me feel comfortable at your specific dealership, I would have walked away, frustrated just like the rest. Many of your employees helped me throughout the day, including- Blane, Aaron, Cameron, Mike, Alan, and Bob and they all did a fabulous job. I truly appreciate the attention and respect I received from these men. Please forward this email to all of the fine gentlemen who helped me, and let them know that they are the reason I purchased my new Accord from Superstition Honda. Each one of them deserves a raise :), as they all definitely know how the correct way to treat a customer.  I will absolutely return to your dealership in the future. Thanks again!

Ashley M.

"Amazing!"

Greetings Dan! You have an amazing team at your Superstition Springs Dealership. Thank you for making this stressful event so easy. Without doubt, you will receive a stellar response to your survey team and many blessings from us. God bless each of you exceedingly and abundantly for all that you did for us.

Sincerely, Ghada and Joseph

"Thank You!"

Thank you, Chris, for writing to us following our purchase of a 2004 Toyota Sierra on April 21.

We were very pleased with the non-aggressive, friendly and caring demeanor of Jimmy Sears. It was a pleasure working with him and we appreciate his handling and of a mis-understanding regarding the out-the-door cost of our vehicle. As a result of his going to bat for us, he was happy to make the sale, and we were more than pleased with the purchase. We also appreciate the follow-up call he made to ask if there were any questions we had about the vehicle, and to thank us again for choosing Superstition Honda.

Please pass on to Jimmy our thanks. We know he is new, but it was a pleasure working with someone who was trying to satisfy our needs instead of pressuring us into purchasing something we couldn't afford.

We will certainly recommend Superstition Honda to our friends.

 Sincerely,

Gary and Jean

"Big Thank You!"

Hi Chris,

We just want to say a big thank you to you and your staff who made our vehicle purchase a pleasant experience.

We didn't give you much time to get our paperwork done, but your staff was very efficient and went out of their way to make it happen. Thanks to Paul Ramlal, our salesman who met our every need.

We enjoyed driving our new Pilot and are pleased with how it drives.

Thanks again for everything.

Sincerely,

Kim and Carol G

"Keep Up the Good Work!"

Chris,

I wanted to take a moment (now that I am slightly refreshed) to thank you and your team for making the car buying experience a good one!  I have purchased cars every 8-12 months for the past 6-7 years and hate playing games.  Frankly, I was not going to purchase another vehicle for the next 5 years but the Infiniti crept its way back into my life so we had no choice.  I was not happy about writing out another check for a new car.  If it were not for James Haas, I would not have taken the drive from Cave Creek and Deer Valley to even start this process.  He makes the customer feel at ease, he is non-threatening and seems to be able to connect with the customer rather then hard selling.  Your general sales manager (I forgot his name but was in the military previously), had a no BS way about him which was refreshing as well.  Keep them happy!

I am not sure you are aware, but my parents were with us as we were going to drive them to Power Nissan in Tempe to lease a 2011 Altima.  If it were not for your used car sale, an Altima pulling up on the drive in front of James?s desk honking its horn, his mention of ?Well, we have Altimas on the lot we can look at?, they would not have thought about purchasing a pre-owned Altima.  They also really liked the liked the gentleman that assisted them in the test drives, sales process, etc.).  Your assistance in the deal and the ability to show them some additional value in their purchase was the icing on the cake.

You mentioned you will at The Boulders for a tournament in the next week or so.  If you have a moment, let me know when you may be available and I will try and make it over to say hello.

Keep up the good work!

PS

I already told 4 people about the experience so maybe we will be able to drum up some business for you.

"Dan Ngo is my Hero"

Dan Ngo is my hero. He has helped me on two occasions now to sort out my thoughts as well as accomplish what I considered to be the impossible. One year ago, I was in a lease of a Honda Pilot that was just too expensive after I started law school and experienced a drastic cutback in my budget. I couldn't find a way to sell it because people weren't interested in a lease, gas prices were high, and the economy was tanking. Dan sat down with me in front of a computer, treated me like an intelligent being, ran me through the numbers, and helped me to logically find the right car at the right price; a Honda Civic lease in exchange for my Pilot. It saved me money, got me into a car I could better afford, and that I have loved since.

My wife just got her first job since becoming a Permanent Resident two months ago, and we soon realized that we would need a second car; however, she has no credit history. We decided to buy an old, used car as cheap as we could to achieve as low of a payment as possible while I am still in law school. We visited Honda of Superstition many times and worked with many sales people, Blane, Dan (the one that used to sell Volkswagens), and another really nice LDS guy. Blane was awesome, friendly, and followed up without being overly bearing. He let us do our own thing, listened, and was never pushy. Dan was also super nice up front. He does an excellent job of explaining how financing works at a very basic level, and can actually use that technique to help build some consumer confidence; however, after he could see that we weren't sold on any of the cars or ideas to lease (which we later ended up doing), he became very pushy, which was an immediate turn-off. He then busted out the "let's be honest with each other" and "what's the real reason your not interested" lines on us, which helped us to decide that we weren't going to purchase anything that day, and certainly not from him. I used to be a salesman, and I've learned a thing or two about contracts and negotiations in law school, and if there's one thing I hate, it's the "let's be honest with each other" bit. I understand that when people aren't giving you buying signals, that as a sales person your job is to find out the buyers real concerns and then overcome them, but sometimes, you just gotta back off and give some people their space to think and work it out for themselves. He did not do that, and it turned out being a bitter experience that made us not want to come back. If he'd have just done is opening bit, which was very good, and then listen to us and show us the used car we wanted to see, we would have probably come to the conclusion that he hoped for on our own.

Anyway, we looked around elsewhere and found that we could get what we wanted, but that it would take another 3 to 4 months. That's when I decided to sit down with Dan Ngo again and see if he could help make sense of our situation. After 5 minutes with Dan Ngo, I knew we would be able to negotiate a deal. That's one of the things I appreciate about Dan Ngo, he listens to the situation, offers solutions, allows me to absorb those ideas and counter with my own negotiations. Dan Ngo makes an effort to negotiate where he can after I make requests, and then uses the numbers and logic to help me come to my own conclusion as to whether the deal will work out or not. In other words, he treats me like I know what I'm talking about, explains things to me where I don't, and never takes me out of the negotiation process until there's no longer any room to negotiate. Thus, I'm confident that I've gotten the best deal that I can, that I'm not overextending myself too much, and that I've been treated well. And I've been happy to close the sale with him both times. I'd recommend him to anybody, and I will if I get the chance. I actually already recommended my brother to him last summer, who came down from Las Vegas and purchased an accord off your lot. My brother ended up being attended by another person, but Dan Ngo is who I had originally recommended.

"You were Genuine, authentic and Professional"

Chris,

What an outstanding experience!

Although we had a glitch with a dirty Civic to start, the team rallied to solve the problem to my satisfaction.

I am most grateful to YOU, for giving me the best deal as well as treating me with the respect I used to remember when purchasing a car.

I will gladly refer my friends and family to YOU and Superstition Honda.Best

Regards,

"Love our Odyssey"

Dear Chris,

Thank you so much for helping me with my new Odyssey. You went "above and beyond" anything that you needed to and I truly appreciate it.

My dad is always talking about how wonderful you are to work with. I know that he thinks the world of you and considers you to be a great friend.

Thanks for everything!

"It fits in the garage!"

I am enjoying my new car. I got home last night and IT FIT in the garage!!!!

I have dealt with many car dealers over the span of my car purchasing career. I love vehicles and have found over the past several years that to get the attention of someone to help me at a dealership was really awful. Even as recent as last week, the Chevrolet Dealer in Goodyear/Avondale was just horrible, trying to sell me a car in their inventory...not the car I was really looking for. To be honest, a Honda was the furthest car from my mind to buy. When the chassis size fit for my garage became an issue, I decided to try the Ridgeline to see if it would A) fit and B) if it had a DVD. I e-mailed your dealership and I got James Haas. James was honest from the beginning, telling me that the Ridgeline did not offer a factory DVD, but he could after market a player. I told him that was out of the question. He recommended the Pilot or the Oddessy, neither of which I knew anything about. He recommended that I come down take a look and he promised me no high pressure. Tiffani, he said, just come and take a look and I know you will love the car. Well, the rest is history. The biggest reason I bought the car was because of James' no high pressure attitude. You either like the car or I hope you find what you like. He is an amazing member of your dealership, as is Kiko the finance fellow. We were at the dealership until midnight last night. I was exhausted, but so were Kiko and James. None the less, they pressed on, helped everyone get their car AND, at midnight, James was showing me how to adjust the mirrors, helping put in my multiples of floor mats and still had a smile on his face. Overall, my experience with Superstition Honda was GREAT.

"My dog and I love you!"

Dear Chris:

I met you two years ago when I came into your dealership to buy an Accord coupe. You may remember me if I remind you that I brought my Weimaraner dog, Schotze Belle, and my mother with me. I purchased a red Accord coupe because I needed a car my dog could get in and out of as she is a Delta Society therapy dog.

Today I received exemplary service from Greg Adams and James Macias. I had what I considered a serious emergency: I had accidentally locked my Honda with my dog inside and the car running. I was at my mother's house in Mesa, not too far your dealership. I called James to tell him of my plight. Within a few minutes Greg and James were there to unlock the car and get me out of my predicament. Not only were they there quickly and took care of the problem efficiently, but they were sincerely interested in helping me and very professional in both their appearance and ability.

As you know service is the name of the game! You can get Hondas at several dealerships, but you certainly don't get Greg and James. This is not the first time they have rescued me and I bet it won't be the last. I drive 30 miles to come to your dealership when there are some others closer. I wanted to let you know why.

You have three very pleased customers: me, Schotze Belle and my mother. Thank you so much Honda of Superstition Springs!

This letter is regarding Paul Ramlal.  My son and I were out car shopping in the Tempe and Mesa area.  After going to a couple places my son Greg suggested we go to Honda of Superstition Springs.  Initially we were greeted by another Salesperson.  Paul eventually took over and was very professional, courteous; never once did we feel pressured into anything.  He gave us the space we needed; however made himself available if we did have questions.  When I decided which vehicle I was interested in he gave us the key; we then took the car for a test drive.  We then decided to proceed with the necessary paperwork, and information needed.  "Paul was; at all times very professional, and yet made us very comfortable". "I have highly recommended Paul very often to family and friends".  I am in customer service myself.  It is so very important to listen to your customers without pressuring them into buying just to make commission.  "Paul was obviously very tired, but never once did he make us feel pressured".  "I was very happy with his attentiveness to our needs".  He is a very kind, courteous, gentleman.  You are very lucky to have him.  I returned a couple weeks later for a remote control and a small chip on the windshield.  Paul immediately saw to it that everything was taken care of.  "Thank you for taking the time to read this".  "Paul Ramlal is an asset to your company".  Thank him again for me.

Sincerely,

Gloria C
